What We Do

The Marine Division responds to a wide range of water-based emergencies:

  • Overdue or missing boaters

  • Water search and recovery operations

  • Support during drowning or distress incidents

  • Assistance during storms and coastal emergencies

These missions often require rapid response in unpredictable and hazardous conditions.

Why It Matters

Search and rescue on the water presents unique challenges:

  • Changing weather and sea conditions

  • Limited visibility

  • Large search areas

  • Time-sensitive situations

A fast, coordinated marine response can make the difference between life and loss.

Trained and Ready

ESAR volunteers train to operate safely and effectively in demanding environments, working alongside local and federal agencies when needed.

Our team is prepared to respond:

  • Day or night

  • In varying weather conditions

  • Wherever help is needed

Part of Every Mission

Marine Operations is often at the center of ESAR's response efforts.

From initial callout to final recovery, this division plays a critical role in protecting lives on the water.

  • Changing weather and sea conditions
